Welcome to the Relaxing Countryside Break of a Lifetime

Relaxing Rural Retreat for Walking, Cycling, Riding, Fishing and Exploring History, Hexham

Hexham CottagesFrom 12th April we have been able to “Take domestic holidays and trips if staying in self-contained, self-catered accommodation (like holiday cottages, glamping sites and lodges) – with members of your household only.” Let’s face it, holidays and breaks have seemed like far away, unattainable dreams for a long time.

Being stuck at home worrying about all kinds of things, and not being allowed to mix socially has impacted many people’s sense of wellbeing. So many normal things were not possible, and holidays were at the back of the queue until now. Imagine strolling across beautiful countryside, cycling along endless quiet roads and paths or galloping over green fields. Most of us are in need of this kind of relaxation, after a turbulent and stressful year.

The new Hexham Cottages website is choc full of information about things to do and see when you stay at one of our two cottages. These self contained idyllic retreats have all the comforts of home, and serve as an ideal base for sampling the delights of this stunning location.

If walking is your thing, there are levels to suit all in a range of settings. Whether it’s gentle strolls through forests and near trickling brooks, or hikes to areas of stunning natural beauty. You will find miles of undisturbed cycling, rivers full of fish and elegant horses to ride. There are copious amounts of flora and fauna to enjoy too, whatever your hearts desire, Hexham and Northumberland will provide it.

Our cottages provide a clean, comfortable place to lay your head after the pursuits of the day, perfect for you and members of your household [at the moment]. You can even bring your four legged friend as there is plenty of space to run free! Message us via our contact form below or call us on 07585 896 799 to talk about your reservation, but be quick, we expect to be very busy.
